Beautiful Memories
After making the previous post and seeing that there is only 87 days left before Christmas (can you believe that?!), I started feeling guilty for not sharing some of the gifts I am making with you! I thought I better start posting a few so you all do not think I am a lazy couch-potato, although I must admit my place on the couch is broken in pretty good!
One of my Christmas goals is to have a twenty page album for all seven of Hubby's siblings. I have several of them finished, although I still have to print them. I must start on that process soon!! This morning I just finished one for his older sister. Agathalene's album is made entirely with the Beautiful Memories Collection by Kimberly Stewart. This collection has a lot of elegance and worked equally well for both my heritage and newer photos. This collection done in a lovely color scheme of purple and green includes not only a large page kit with tons of elements but also available are two Quick Page Bundles and two cluster embellishments sets so creating an album can be done super fast!!!

Here's a little tip for you to really extend those Quick Pages as well. Just flip or rotate the quick pages to make a two page spread! You can also add additional elements or frames to a quick page so that each of your pages are unique. I do this quite a bit as I have many albums to make but I want each page to be a little different so each person's album is unique and one-of-a-kind!
Here are the twenty pages for my SIL Agathalene...
I will probably print these pages out at 8x8 myself and then find a nice little album in a coordinating color. I search out the Dollar Stores and Big Lots and have found nice albums there before, and I have also bought several nice albums on E-bay the past few weeks.
I will be back in a few days, and show you another gift or two I am making, and don't forget, today is the last day you can get Kimmi's Beautiful Memories Quick Pages at their introductory price! Happy Scrappin!

Bad Blogger!
I have been neglecting the blogging as of late! Sorry about that! I have no real excuses so there is nothing more to say - lol! As the Christmas counter is ticking off the days, I have been scrapping like a bad woman trying to get some Christmas gifts done, and since they are gifts, I can't really show them to you for fear the "giftee" (is that a real word?) will see them but I will try to be back soon!

Freebie Day!
I hope everyone in the US enjoyed a nice holiday weekend. We had a great time. On Thursday night, Gary and I went to the Grayson County Fair for the first night's Demolition Derby. The Derby itself was not very good but I did see a lot of old faces from my home town so that made up for the fair being such a bomb! It really has gone down hill! The carnival itself was filled with rides and games that looked as if they had seen better days, and then, I was really bombed went I went through the Women's Building! Very few exhibits there. Back in the day, when I took my craft projects, and cooking and sewing, and what-have-you, the building could barely hold all the local homemakers submissions. This year, I could have displayed EVERYTHING quite nicely in my livingroom! The Merchants Building was the same way, all of three or four displays were all that was set up. It really was disappointing but on Friday night we returned none-the-less with my youngest son, his wife and their two children. Of course, the kids loved it and the Feature Demolition Derby was much better. Isaac came home with us after the fair, and we had planned on going back for the Tractor Pull on Saturday but rain changed our plans.
Poor little Isaac went out to play on the swing set before supper, and got stung on the arm by one of those nasty ole red wasps! When he screamed, I look up and saw several of them swarming around his head, so I went running to him and scooped him up in my arms thinking he had been stung several times. Fortunately, there was only one sting on his little arm. I immediately tore up a cigarette, got the tobacco wet and stuck it directly on the sting. (Yes, it really does work!) Bless his heart, he was trying not to cry, and he kept saying that he could not understand why they had stung him for he was doing nothing to them. We called his Daddy because Mommy and Daddy are really needed at such a time, and since it was raining anyway, Isaac decided he wanted to go home. As we got closer to his home, he was still upset over the wasper sting, and we decided a strawberry milkshake would make it feel better so we drove by the Dairy Barn and got him and Sissy Ava milkshakes. He was fine by the time we got to his house, and when I left to go home, I could barely tell where he was stung.
On Sunday, my oldest son Michael came down with his wife and three youngest sons. The boys were excited to know that turkeys have been coming into the yard every evening to feed. They filled a bucket with the corn and birdseed mixture we have been feeding them with, and scattered it all along the creek bank but all the activity caused the birds to stay in the woods and they did not get to see them. I cooked supper for us all, and then Carolyn and I beat Michael and Gary in a game of spades while the kids watched a Harry Potter movie on tv. And, then on Monday, we just laid around the house watching television.
Well, I have been working on another family album for a Christmas gift and I discovered a quick page that I had never been posted so I have a nice little freebie for you today!!! I made it using
TODAY'S MOMENTS by Kimberly Stewart. I hope you enjoy it!
