Rina's Scripture Challenge

I just love Rina's Scripture Challenges at Scrapbook Elements!

PART ONE: THE CHALLENGE
1. Every Sunday morning you will receive your challenge HERE in the Scriptures Challenge forum thread (under "Weekly Challenges").
2. Each month the challenge will have a specific theme, with weekly scriptures and posting gifts related to that theme. For example, with February being the traditional month for Valentine’s Day our theme will be centered on the theme of “love” from a Biblical perspective.
3. You will be given a link in the forum thread to download the FREE scripture word art created by Rina.
4. Use that week’s word art and ANY SBE product (including store items, newsletter gifts or past challenge gifts) to create your submission, which can be whatever your heart calls you to create: a special layout, a bookmark, greeting card, calendar page, memory verse card, etc.
5. To be fair to all participants and challenges hostesses, we would prefer that you not combine the various SBE challenges but create a unique submission for each individual challenge.

PART TWO: SHOW US WHAT YOU DID
6. Once you have completed your creation, upload it to the Scripture Challenge Gallery at SBE (which can be found HERE). Remember to give credit in the description fields to the SBE designer(s) whose products you used.
7. Once your layout is posted in the gallery, hurry on back to the weekly thread and post a LINK to your layout. We want to make sure we don’t miss your creation and it also lets us know that you have completed the challenge so that we can send you your posting bonus.
8. You will have a whole week in which to complete your challenge. Deadlines will be midnight EST on Saturdays for both layout posting and forum link.
9. We encourage you to take the time to peruse the gallery for other Scripture Challenge submissions and leave some love for the other members taking part – your praise and encouragement goes a long way!

PART THREE: THE REWARD
10. For every challenge that you complete you will receive a fabulous 12x12 quick page created by Rina’s talented Muses as a posting gift. These unique pages are specifically designed around the theme for the month and will be a wonderful way to build up a very special scrapbook album as you go along.
11. We will send you the link to download your posting gift via PM (private message) within 48 hours after the challenge deadline for the week is over.
12. Very important: make sure that you have enabled private messaging in your Control Panel (go to your User CP and check that option under “Edit Options”), so that you will be notified of when that gift has been sent to you.
13. You will have one week in which to download your posting gift before the link is taken down and replaced by the link for the next week’s gift.
14. After each month's challenges are completed Rina's scripture word art will be available to SBE customers in the store. You can find previous collections of "Scripture Scraps" for sale HERE.

This is the page I created for Rina's challenge this week: Be Glad. The beautiful Joyful Awakening QuickPage and Word art by Rina Kroes makes for such a special page with the photo of my Happy GD Haylee.

Rina's beautiful collection of quick pages will be available in the SBE Store on Sunday at the special price of 25% off on Sunday and Monday. Below are my layouts I created with her beautiful Joyful Awakening Quickpages. They will be posted in MY GALLERY at SBE soon if you would like to take a closer look.

Bells of St Clements

“Oranges and lemons… The Bells of St Clements…”. The words of this old English singing game identified the church bells in and around London and are the inspiration behind Rina’s “Bells of St Clements” collection. Full of juicy fruity freshness in citrus shades of cream, lemon yellow, orange and lime green, this collection is sure to become a summer favorite. As part of the Door Buster Event , there will be some new coordinates for Rina's new (soon to be released) kit that are priced for only $1 or $2 !!! I have loved playing with this beautiful kit! Here are some layouts I have finished today. This is a special page I made for my DS#2 and his lovely wife! I love you guys and wish you only the best which life has to offer!!! Thank you for stopping my blog today and here is a freebie I made for you from the layout above. ***SORRY-NO LONGER AVAILABLE***

Hump Day with Teen Tude

Wednesday is Hump Day:and we are half-way through the week.  We here in the USA are looking forward to a big holiday weekend, the 4th of July!  I am sure my sons will take their kids to one of the fireworks shows in the area, and we always have a family cook-out at my brothers house.  I still have to try to get my stuff together for the big yard sale my DILs are having on Saturday.  But today, my husband and a few of his friends are meeting here to finish putting up the big 100 ft CB antennae tower for his "Bull Creek Sub-Station!  He loves to talk and there is always a listening audience for his foolishness on the CB.  That is about the only hobby he has, lol! For me, my love of digi-scrapping led me last night to double-check and finish some of the photo books I have to make sure they are ready for printing.  I added a couple of slide shows from these projects over on the right side of my blog so I hope you take the time to peek at them.  I can't wait to actually see these

In Memoriam Collection

Anyone who has lost a loved one knows how much they cherish them and want to preserve their memory. Putting together a Memory Album is one way of remembering them, now and for future generations. Rina and Kimberly have come together in bringing you the "In Memoriam" collection that exemplifies gentleness in strength. Inside this large collection you will find a myriad of embellishments and papers that are suitable for both softly feminine and more rugged masculine pages. It is delicate and sensitive, yet strong and thoughtful. The colors are peaceful, yet with an intensity that gives them strength. You will be able to choose from a number of color combinations: from crisp silvery white and lavender, to the soft glow of gold leaf and sky blue, from warm caramel and taupe to shades found in nature, and finally to accent colors of scarlet red, navy blue and dark purple. Often times our emotions are still very raw from our loss and we may find it difficult to draw on our own c
