Scrappin Happy!

I have been scrappin' up a storm this week! I am trying to get a brag book or something like that for everyone in our family this year. You would think with all the layouts I have finished this year that I would not have to work so hard but that does not seem to be the case, lol. Anyway, I just thought I would share a few of them with you.

First off, I must toot my own horn just a little, so I hope you don't mind. I recently won a challenge over at MGL Scraps-CT Blog, and I was very tickled about that! This is my winning page using the Awakening Kit by Studio MGL. (For additional credits, just click on the image)
What did I win you ask? A $10.00 gift card from mgl Scraps! Isn't that fantastic! She has some awesome stuff in HER STORE so I am sure I will have a hard time deciding what to get! Her CT has another challenge going on until Aug 31, so drop by THEIR BLOG and check it out. You too could win a gift card!

I also have the pleasure of announcing that I am now a member of the Creative Victorian Designs CT. She has some really great stuff over there and I am looking forward to the chance of playing with everything! This is my first 'official' posting as a member of the CT...

I hope my beautiful GD always maintains her wondrous free spirit!
I used the newly revamped Unicorn Purity Collection by Creative Victorian Designs.
This is a wonderful and versatile kit that is great for not only fantasy layouts but all sorts of other layouts as well!

I have had a lot of fun scrapping with Lorilei Murphy's beautiful kits from Rosey Posey Studio this week. First, I used her new FRESH kit to scrap a layout for the Quote Challenge at Creative Victorian Designs of "a moment that took my breath away."

My youngest son and his wife asked his Father and I to be with them at the birth of their first child. Now, I have three sons but witnessing the birth of a child...its a totally different experience! And to be there to see my baby with his baby...its a moment that I will never ever forget!

Next, I used one of Lor's new Mini Digital Kits and an Elements Pack for this Berry Sweet Page of Isaac once again. He will soon be five years old going through another stage of "growing up". You know the one, I'm sure! He will only wear what he considers to be cool and shiny clothes, of which this yellow outfit is his favorite. The last time he stayed all night with me, he refused to get dressed because I had the only pair of "cool" shorts he had here in the laundry. In fact, he became so angry with me over it, that he made me take him home, in his pajamas rather than to go shopping with Pap and I. Lesson learned! No matter what, he will be Berry Cool according to his own standards! lol

I hope you go check out the Rosey Posey Studio and all of Lorilei's New Products.
I just know that you will find something there that you just have to play with soon!

I hope you enjoy a beautiful weekend, and check back on Sunday for a have a great freebie all ready for you with one of Kimmi's new releases!

Happy Scrappin!

Hump Day with Teen Tude

Wednesday is Hump Day:and we are half-way through the week.  We here in the USA are looking forward to a big holiday weekend, the 4th of July!  I am sure my sons will take their kids to one of the fireworks shows in the area, and we always have a family cook-out at my brothers house.  I still have to try to get my stuff together for the big yard sale my DILs are having on Saturday.  But today, my husband and a few of his friends are meeting here to finish putting up the big 100 ft CB antennae tower for his "Bull Creek Sub-Station!  He loves to talk and there is always a listening audience for his foolishness on the CB.  That is about the only hobby he has, lol! For me, my love of digi-scrapping led me last night to double-check and finish some of the photo books I have to make sure they are ready for printing.  I added a couple of slide shows from these projects over on the right side of my blog so I hope you take the time to peek at them.  I can't wait to actually see these

Bells of St Clements

“Oranges and lemons… The Bells of St Clements…”. The words of this old English singing game identified the church bells in and around London and are the inspiration behind Rina’s “Bells of St Clements” collection. Full of juicy fruity freshness in citrus shades of cream, lemon yellow, orange and lime green, this collection is sure to become a summer favorite. As part of the Door Buster Event , there will be some new coordinates for Rina's new (soon to be released) kit that are priced for only $1 or $2 !!! I have loved playing with this beautiful kit! Here are some layouts I have finished today. This is a special page I made for my DS#2 and his lovely wife! I love you guys and wish you only the best which life has to offer!!! Thank you for stopping my blog today and here is a freebie I made for you from the layout above. ***SORRY-NO LONGER AVAILABLE***

In Memoriam Collection

Anyone who has lost a loved one knows how much they cherish them and want to preserve their memory. Putting together a Memory Album is one way of remembering them, now and for future generations. Rina and Kimberly have come together in bringing you the "In Memoriam" collection that exemplifies gentleness in strength. Inside this large collection you will find a myriad of embellishments and papers that are suitable for both softly feminine and more rugged masculine pages. It is delicate and sensitive, yet strong and thoughtful. The colors are peaceful, yet with an intensity that gives them strength. You will be able to choose from a number of color combinations: from crisp silvery white and lavender, to the soft glow of gold leaf and sky blue, from warm caramel and taupe to shades found in nature, and finally to accent colors of scarlet red, navy blue and dark purple. Often times our emotions are still very raw from our loss and we may find it difficult to draw on our own c
