RAWR

Kimberly Stewart has been busy once again and today she has released the cutest dinosaurs with the RAWR Kit. They are just waiting to adorn your scrapbook pages! I used the cuties with the TV Theme Song Lyrics from the PBS show Dragon Tales for my journaling on this page with one of my Grandsons swirling and dancing in his own little world as he plays in the warm spring sunshine.

I also used it to make a little Christmas gift album for my Great Nephew

Here is the link once again for this cute kit, Kimberly Stewart's RAWR kit and remember all
All New Releases are 25% off - Sunday and Monday Only

And in reply to the Anonymous Comment from previous post, yes, I am aware that the music on my site uses the bandwidth of site visitors...some approve, some do not. Some like the blinkies, some do not. Although I would love to please everyone, alas, I can not; so I just please myself and do my best not to offend anyone in the process. I hope each of you come to visit me often, and in return, I sometimes offer a freebie! Surprise! I have one for you today! I hope you enjoy it!

New Releases at SBE and a Freebie

It's new releases day at Scrapbook-Elements and Miss Kimmi as just loaded her store shelves with lots of pretties!!!! She has lots of labels and banners, as well as some really beautiful flowers brushes, as well as two new kits! And everything is at its low introductory price as well!

Beautiful Memories Kit by Kimberly Stewart is a set that has class and romantic elegance. This set perfect to use to create your cherished layouts and or craft projects and is perfect for any style including feminine, heritage, masculine and children. I used it to scrap a couple of the photos my DS #3 took on their recent road trip to Niagara Falls.

Kimmi's other new kit is a super cute set that with a touch of whimsy. Bumbles The Bee is perfect to use to capture those sweet moments or candid snapshots of your loved ones and would be great for craft projects! I used it below to scrap a couple of my cute little honey bees!

For a full list of my layout credits just visit my gallery: DST or SBE.
And, just as promised, I have a freebie for you too! It is a quick page I made from one of my new layouts using Kimmi's Beautiful Memories Kit. I hope you enjoy it!

Scrappin Happy!

I have been scrappin' up a storm this week! I am trying to get a brag book or something like that for everyone in our family this year. You would think with all the layouts I have finished this year that I would not have to work so hard but that does not seem to be the case, lol. Anyway, I just thought I would share a few of them with you.

First off, I must toot my own horn just a little, so I hope you don't mind. I recently won a challenge over at MGL Scraps-CT Blog, and I was very tickled about that! This is my winning page using the Awakening Kit by Studio MGL. (For additional credits, just click on the image)
What did I win you ask? A $10.00 gift card from mgl Scraps! Isn't that fantastic! She has some awesome stuff in HER STORE so I am sure I will have a hard time deciding what to get! Her CT has another challenge going on until Aug 31, so drop by THEIR BLOG and check it out. You too could win a gift card!

I also have the pleasure of announcing that I am now a member of the Creative Victorian Designs CT. She has some really great stuff over there and I am looking forward to the chance of playing with everything! This is my first 'official' posting as a member of the CT...

I hope my beautiful GD always maintains her wondrous free spirit!
I used the newly revamped Unicorn Purity Collection by Creative Victorian Designs.
This is a wonderful and versatile kit that is great for not only fantasy layouts but all sorts of other layouts as well!

I have had a lot of fun scrapping with Lorilei Murphy's beautiful kits from Rosey Posey Studio this week. First, I used her new FRESH kit to scrap a layout for the Quote Challenge at Creative Victorian Designs of "a moment that took my breath away."

My youngest son and his wife asked his Father and I to be with them at the birth of their first child. Now, I have three sons but witnessing the birth of a child...its a totally different experience! And to be there to see my baby with his baby...its a moment that I will never ever forget!

Next, I used one of Lor's new Mini Digital Kits and an Elements Pack for this Berry Sweet Page of Isaac once again. He will soon be five years old going through another stage of "growing up". You know the one, I'm sure! He will only wear what he considers to be cool and shiny clothes, of which this yellow outfit is his favorite. The last time he stayed all night with me, he refused to get dressed because I had the only pair of "cool" shorts he had here in the laundry. In fact, he became so angry with me over it, that he made me take him home, in his pajamas rather than to go shopping with Pap and I. Lesson learned! No matter what, he will be Berry Cool according to his own standards! lol

I hope you go check out the Rosey Posey Studio and all of Lorilei's New Products.
I just know that you will find something there that you just have to play with soon!

I hope you enjoy a beautiful weekend, and check back on Sunday for a have a great freebie all ready for you with one of Kimmi's new releases!

Happy Scrappin!

THESE DAYS

Can you believe it is August all ready! This year has just flown by! August generally flies by, what with harvesting and canning, getting ready for school to start and then the month ends with the county fair for my oldest son's birthday!

Cathy Krenek has released a new kit THESE DAYS which is perfect for scrapping all those everyday moments and for your Project 365 layouts as well! The download includes: 10 papers, 1 frame cluster (in shadowed and unshadowed versions), 1 storyboard frame, 2 frames, 1 journal paper, 2 journal strips, 1 beaded string (in shadowed and unshadowed versions), 1 twisted ribbon, 1 circle ribbon frame, 1 twill ribbon, 1 glittered swirl, 1 bead spill, 1 swirled clock stamp, 2 buttoned circles, 3 flowers, 1 staple, 7 days of the week tags, 12 months of the year tags, 1 set of monthdays pebbles, set of years tags (1993-2012), 1 plain year tag and numerals to create your own year tags.

I made this fun page...just a typical day in August for Noey and the kids! Don't you just those journaling labels and the date labels, and the great photo cluster too!

I made another cute layout as well with a cute decorated frame, and I have the frame available for you today! I hope you enjoy it, and a great month as well!! Happy Scrappin!!

Sneaky Peek!

Before I give you a little sneaky peek at some of the gorgeous goodies Rina will release in the SBE store tomorrow, I just wanted to share what we have been up to here in the holler...

I put up about 300 ears of corn yesterday!!! I am so tired for I was up most all the night doing it, and then cleaning up the mess, WHEW! but it will be worth it. I want to say how good it will taste this winter but it will never last till winter for DH loves corn, lol. I think he is going after more today. He paid 3.50 a dozen for it yesterday but found another guy that sells it for 3.00 a dozen, so I think he wants to go get more. Most of it is cut off (my hands are so sore from that darn cutting and scraping) but I did put a few ears of corn-on-cob as well, as it so much easier to do that

And, I finally got to get my Isaac fix! Gary surprised me and went and picked him up...he stayed all night only one night this time ...he was missing Mommy and Daddy and Sissie Ava so we had to take him home. He is getting really clingy towards them of late. I don't know if it is because he has gotten out of the habit of coming down here as they have been so busy this summer, or if it is the fact that he will be starting preschool on the 17th as, he does not seem as excited about that as he used to me. Personally, I would rather him stay home and not start school yet but that is a decision his Mommy has made, and I know school is good for him....its just that they have to start early enough and I want him to stay my baby for as long as possible...That is selfish I know so I have not conveyed my feelings to them for it is none-of-my-business....See, I really do my best not to me a Bad MIL or Granny and butt into my kids affairs...you did not think I could do that did you? LOL

I still have not seen or heard from Michael (my oldest son) and his family. It has been months since they have visited....yes, Mom is keeping track Michael... but perhaps tomorrow will be the day!

We planted four crepe myrtles in front of the driveway, and my good buddy Denise (aka wererich) is sharing her tulip bulbs with me to plant this fall. I also received a generous little helping of poppy seeds from Lisa (aka scoobie81). This ole holler will be blooming next year and as I enjoy them, the pleasure will be even deeper as I think of my good friends who shared with me...I will have my own little Friendship Garden!

Now what you have been waiting on...Sunday is NEW RELEASE day at Scrapbook-Elements, and it promises to have the virtual shelves loaded!!! Rina is releasing lots of new "Gorgeousness" and here are just a couple of product sneaky peeks using some of my layouts.
And don't forget New Releases are on sale Sunday and Monday only!

Enjoy your weekend and Happy Scrappin!
