SNOW DAY

We had to wait for the winter weather to hit Kentucky but it came with a vegenance! The state was hit by a major ice storm that left many residents without electrical power for weeks. We were fortunate for we had propane gas for heat and hot water, and we were without electricity for only seven days and six nights but it is an experience I hope not to repeat...not for a while anyway! Since then we have had temps in the 70s one day, and freezing the next day. Last night we had high winds and thunder storms, and tonight they are predicting three inches of snow. If you don't like the weather in Kentucky, just stick around and it will soon change!
