NOTES FROM THE HOLLER

Its Monday!  The last few days of August has brought to us some cooler temperatures here in the holler, and we have much appreciated the break as the unrelenting sizzling heat has broke many records here this year.  Now if we could get just get some much needed rain!  Humans are funny people-we seem to never be satisfied with what we have! Today has been a lazy day for me and I really have accomplished nothing but I have been daydreaming about how I wish Gary would someday agree that we need to build onto our house.  I was cleaning out my email folders and came across this photo of a darling little house...I wish my house looked like this!  He could build onto the front of the house and make my little house look like this doll house!  I love all that pretty gingerbread! My DH will absolutely kill me!!  I have been on a real spending spree lately what with Wallie World and digital scrapbook supplies, and I promised him last week that I would put a cease to it but I could not help myself!  What is it that has caused me to risk life and limb you ask....
