THESE DAYS

Can you believe it is August all ready! This year has just flown by! August generally flies by, what with harvesting and canning, getting ready for school to start and then the month ends with the county fair for my oldest son's birthday!

Cathy Krenek has released a new kit THESE DAYS which is perfect for scrapping all those everyday moments and for your Project 365 layouts as well! The download includes: 10 papers, 1 frame cluster (in shadowed and unshadowed versions), 1 storyboard frame, 2 frames, 1 journal paper, 2 journal strips, 1 beaded string (in shadowed and unshadowed versions), 1 twisted ribbon, 1 circle ribbon frame, 1 twill ribbon, 1 glittered swirl, 1 bead spill, 1 swirled clock stamp, 2 buttoned circles, 3 flowers, 1 staple, 7 days of the week tags, 12 months of the year tags, 1 set of monthdays pebbles, set of years tags (1993-2012), 1 plain year tag and numerals to create your own year tags.


I made this fun page...just a typical day in August for Noey and the kids! Don't you just those journaling labels and the date labels, and the great photo cluster too!

Scrapping Today

There are so many other things I should be doing today on my 10th Wedding Anniversary but Hubby had to work, and I have so many pretties that I purchased on National Scrapbooking Day-well, I just want to play!!! Hump Day with Teen Tude

Wednesday is Hump Day:and we are half-way through the week.  We here in the USA are looking forward to a big holiday weekend, the 4th of July!  I am sure my sons will take their kids to one of the fireworks shows in the area, and we always have a family cook-out at my brothers house.  I still have to try to get my stuff together for the big yard sale my DILs are having on Saturday.  But today, my husband and a few of his friends are meeting here to finish putting up the big 100 ft CB antennae tower for his "Bull Creek Sub-Station!  He loves to talk and there is always a listening audience for his foolishness on the CB.  That is about the only hobby he has, lol!
